Playtime

One of the best exercises to keep your skills fresh as a photographer is to take one picture a day. Sounds easy right? Its not...trust me.

I only want to spend the time editing images that capture something unique, show something real, freeze a fleeting moment, or put imagery to a thought or feeling I am having. Therefore there is a little bit of myself in every image I put out there in the world.

In my busy world of three kids, a marriage, and two jobs, I don't always have the headspace to do this (which is why you've never seen a photo-a-day project from me! #goals!). I try to give grace to that though and just work that creative photography muscle whenever I can and savor when I strike gold.

Below is a random sampling of some "nothing" images from the past couple years that to me, are pure gold. Enjoy!
